Newsflash: 20 Year Old California Woman Arrested In Hells Angels Murder

Reuters.com news agency published this deansguide article May 31, 2008

In a very surprising development, and one that has many angles, a 20 year old Marin county woman was arrested for the murder of Hells Angel William Mclean in a drive-by shooting on bustling 101 Freeway this past week.

Law enforcement officials arrested the woman, “under tight secrecy”, last Thursday without releasing any information. She was charged with the murder on Friday. The suspect is being held at the Marin County jail under heavy guard in anticipation of retaliation by prisoners or outside forces.

No further details have been released and the investigation into the murder is ongoing.

There Will Be Hell To Pay: Victim of Drive-By Shooting Related To Hells Angels Chapter President

New details about the hit on a Hells Angel member have been released. The victim was William Crompton Maclean, the brother-in-law of Sonoma County chapter president, Raymond Foakes. Maclean, 25 years old, was shot and killed on Highway 101 north in Marin County.

Foakes was one of the participants in the now infamous Laughlin, Nevada brawl with the Mongols that killed 3 Hells Angels and 1 Mongol before order was restored.

In a spooky, if not ominous development, one of the newspaper writers covering the events surrounding this murder wrote a very short notice for a crime in Santa Rosa, California two days ago. A man was found shot to death in his truck while the passenger was allowed to walk away from the incident without a scratch. No names were printed in the article and no description was provided of the truck.

Although this is most likely a separate incident, it would interesting to know more details about the murder MO, the murder victim, and the vehicle he was found shot to death in.

Marin County Law Enforcement Officials

In a recent statement, officials said they are beefing up security for this weekend’s Hells Angel Poker Run which will begin from the Golden Gate Harley Davidson in Corte Madera with a final destination of Stafford Lake in Novato.

Show of Force

Officials predict that this ride will be a show of force with expectations of as many as 200 riders participating in the run. It will also be a ride of respect to honor their fallen Angel.

Newsflash-Deadline To Dispute Ed Okun 1031 Tax Group Recovery “Fee Applications” May 29: The Money Leaking Out Of Your Pocket

One of the most difficult realities in the Ed Okun rip off and scandal of the 1031 Tax Group, beyond how this guy could get away with it for so long, is the amount of money (debtor recovery funds) victims will pay for the privilege of attempting to recover their own monies.

If you are a debtor (owed monies in this case) and you wish to dispute the amount of legal fees, administrative fees, and every other Tom-Dick-n’ Harry with his collective hand in your pocket fees being sought, then NOW is the time for you to speak up.

Deadline To Dispute

According to US Trustee Gerald McHale’s website story “Order Setting New Fee App Hearing on 6/11/2008” your cut off to dispute these costs:

ORDERED, that any party wishing to object to these fee applications must file an objection by Thursday, May 29, 2008 at 5:00 p.m.”

Realtor Marketing Meetings: The Most Important Networking Event You Can Attend

One of the most effective methods to market listings, meet like minded professionals, search for affiliates, hear industry news-updates, and build last relationships is the Realtor Marketing Meeting. Here in the San Francisco Bay Area, most counties have at least one weekly meeting; with many counties having 2 or 3 participating associations that hold separate meetings.

Profile

In the last five years, I have attended hundreds of breakfast marketing meetings sponsored by Realtor Marketing Associations. My schedule was filled with four morning meetingsTuesday through Friday. After these meetings, the associations sponsored broker open house tours where we could caravan together and see upwards of 15 locations. It is a chance to network with other Realtors and see their properties.

My Favorite Meetings

1. Walnut Creek aka Contra Costa Association of Realtors: Tuesday mornings from 7:45 to 9:45. This is one of the most powerful meetings available with Realtors and affiliates coming from as far away as a 50 mile radius. The attendance level was 200-350. Many prominent Realtors, mortgage brokers, and independents attend this meeting faithfully. This meeting is held at the Concord Centre a old but huge meeting hall reminiscent of your high school auditorium.

2. Los Gatos aka Silicon Valley Association of Realtors: Wednesday mornings 8:00 to 9:30. This meeting is the best Association meeting in Silicon Valley (Penninsula) in my opinion. The power broker quotient is high with very prominent brokers and long time Realtor luminaries, like English royalty, dot the landscape. This meeting held at the Willow Street Pizza restaurant has, easily, the greatest breakfast spread of any meeting for only $5 and the most hilarious host in big Michael.

*Note: This meeting was where I received the tip, ahead of the press at the time, that the Ed Okun 1031 Tax Group scandal had just hit. 1031 Advance in San Jose had just closed it’s doors and my “contact” put me onto the story that day.

3. San Ramon aka Realtor’s Marketing Association: Thursday mornings from 8:30-9:45. This meeting is powerful like the Walnut Creek meeting but on a much smaller scale. Attendance runs between 50-85 but again there are a number of Real Estate broker owners, managers, and powerful agents. The beautiful people quotient at this meeting makes it look like a casting call from the 1980’s Dynasty series–fun people watching.

4. Pleasanton aka Valley Marketing Association: This meeting is held Fridays from 8:30-9:30 at Tommy T’s Comedy Club. The venue itself is special because it has a wonderful stage and the best tech gadgets for multi-media presentations. The attendance here is 80-150 with many luminaries coming from Livermore, Dublin, and farther outbound. Information is fresh and the speakers list in most cases is top shelf presenters. John Harper, he of theharperteam blog fame, is one of the long time attendees adding substance to this group. It is a fun meeting and a social event!

5. Fremont aka Tri-City Marketing Meeting: This meeting is held on Thursdays from 8:00-10:00 in a huge banquet room of the Golden Peacock Chinese restaurant a cavern of a space. The crowd is warm and diverse in cultural experiences. Attendance runs between 120-175 per meeting. One of the greatest drawings aka lottos of any meeting, I won the number in one meeting and walked out with $175. This is a more difficult meeting to break into as many Realtors and affiliates are long time partners and have their own cliques.

Details Trickle In On Hell’s Angel Execution In Northern California

The latest news about the recent drive-by shooting death of a Hell’s Angel member, on crowded Highway 101 north, has begun to slowly come out. Here is what we know so far according to media sources.

Details So Far

1. The victim was shot while riding in a white Chevy truck; approximate time 8:15pm Saturday night

2. The Hells Angels were traveling to Sonoma County, up 101 north, after attending the funeral of Angel Julian Serrano in Daly City

3. The Shooter’s vehicle described as a red SUV may have been a Dodge Durango

4. The shooting happened between Tiburon Blvd in Mill Valley and the Paradise Dr. exit in Corte Madera

5. The police are “pretending” (my words) that they don’t know whether this shooting was a random act of violence or a hit.

Commentary: Give me a freaking break! Anybody stupid enough to take a random shot at a group of Hells Angels riding in formation behind a truck is absolutely crazy. That is HIGHLY unlikely.

6. The Shooter’s vehicle exited 101 and escaped. . . IJ “It was unclear whether the other Hells Angels members chased the vehicle and obtained a license plate number, but none was provided to investigators.”

Commentary: Are the cops kidding? Do they really think that if the Angels ran down a plate number they would hand it over to the cops?

“Did He Really Say That Quote of the Day” : IJ “We’re hoping that the members of the club (81) will be open and honest and provide as much information as possible.” Yes and I am hoping that Santa Claus will land on my roof and deliver a big bag of cash on Christmas Day.

7. An unnamed law enforcement agency confiscated the guest sign-in book at the funeral parlor and took surveillance photos of the funeral attendees

Update: California Hell’s Angel Shot On 101–Could This Signal A Biker War?

As first reported, new details have emerged about the drive-by shooting of a Hell’s Angel last night which resulted in the death of the victim. Originally thought to be riding a Harley in a pack of Angels heading north on Highway 101, the victim was actually riding in a white Chevrolet pickup truck that was leading the pack north.

Bikers have been known to use a war wagon that carries bike parts, “supplies”, and other equipment that the bikers do not have room to carry or do not want to carry on their person or bike.

Speculation circulating today is that the shooter(s) were traveling in a red SUV and that the SUV may have “damage to it’s windows” according to CHP authorities.

The Next Move?

Worse yet is the fact that these types of open executions are often followed by retaliation and the spark that ignites a full scale biker war. Northern California long the stronghold of the Hell’s Angels, has been invaded recently by the Angel’s most hated enemy the Mongols. The Mongols were the Angel’s adversary in the now legendary Laughlin, Nevada casino mayhem that included shooting and stabbing victims.

Newsflash: California Hell’s Angel Executed In Nighttime Drive-By

Dateline Saturday May 31, 2008 10:00pm

The details to this point are sketchy but local television news stations are reporting tonight that a member of the Hell’s Angels was shot and killed along a stretch of heavily traveled 101 freeway in Marin County. According to CHP spokesman, the biker was traveling north through Corte Madera when he was shot. The victim managed to hang on to his Harley as he exited the main Corte Madera exit off of 101.

Within a minute the rider was in the parking lot of the nearby CHP headquarters seeking assistance for his wounds. Not long after his arrival, the unnamed Hell’s Angel was pronounced dead in the parking lot.

No further details are known to this point

A “Preacher” With An Uncommon Mission: Spreading The Word On The Street

Imagine you are a history scholar, young father and newly wed in your 30’s, pushing hard for your doctorate from one of the leading universities in the world–and then it happens. You read an old version of the bible and you are blown away.

The experience is life changing and the transformation you embark upon begins with you leaving your doctorate studies for a life preaching “the word.” You begin your journey by inviting homeless people to sleep on your apartment floor every night. Your wife can not agree with your vision and your marriage ends in divorce with your wife and baby moving back to the East Coast.

The culmination of your transformation is your decision to turn in your apartment keys, sell your belongings, and go live in a homeless encampment under a freeway overpass so that you can relate to your “congregation.”

This is no Harlequin novel but rather the real life story, a wonderful read by San Francisco Chronicle’s Kevin Fagan, of Vincent Pannizzo a New Jersey native who was working toward his doctorate in History at the University of California Berkeley before deciding to heed God’s calling and preach “the word.”

What Do You Think Of This Man?

Maybe instead of a never ending stream of headlines about Paris Hilton, our convoluted and corrupt political system, and the ongoing soulless news items we are force fed, maybe we should seek out and make example of stories like Vincent’s story.

Is it possible to change minds by simply changing what information you allow into your life? Tell me what you think.

Realty Times: Excellent Source But Where Does Blogging Fit In?

Realty Times is a premiere source of real estate industry news, information on different real estate instruments, and top advice for the real estate professional. They have market condition information, consumer advice, agent and industry news, as well as a rich library of valuable content to anyone interested in nearly any aspect of real estate.

The reason I said nearly any aspect of real estate is the rather stunning omission of information or tools on blogging. Although Realty Times is not as archaic or dormant in their Blogging coverage as a certain large industry association we all know, I expected more from such a fine site.

Blogging

When I searched the site, utilizing their search box, inputing the phrase “blogging tips” nothing was returned. I then input “blogging” and the results were a mixed bag of information.

In 2008 only 3 article have been written that have referenced information to blogging. Of the three, the most information is contained in “Online Real Estate Marketing Is More Than Just Sharing Ideas” written by Ralph Roberts. It is a good solid informative article but Ralph only spends 2 paragraphs and a handful of bullet points on blogging. It is even more curious when you consider the following excerpt from Ralph’s blog:

“Blogging has created so many opportunities for me, from speaking engagements and consultations to defining my expertise as an authoritative figure on real estate fraud. There is no questions that blogging has greatly benefited me both professionally and personally.”

The next Realty Times blogging articles date back to August and May of 2007.

As Ralph so eloquently stated in his opinion of how blogging effected his business life and personal life, I would have to say that blogging has greatly benefited me both professionally and personally. I have carved out a niche for myself in the business world with the help of blogging and blogging has been a major focal point that I shared with my love interest when we were just beginning our relationship. You got it right on the money Ralph!
